Great benefits and career growth opportunities are available, and we are looking to hire fast. Duties Safely operate forklifts to load and unload shipments. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed on forklifts and related machinery. Assist with warehouse management tasks including inventory control, stock organization, and materials handling to optimize space utilization. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, completing documentation, and ensuring proper storage of goods. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA guidelines during all operations and participating in safety training sessions. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate daily tasks, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Qualifications 18 months experience operating forklifts or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse setting. Ability to perform basic math calculations for weight measurements and quantity verification. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor equipment repairs or troubleshoot operational issues. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Ability to lift, move, or pull objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a warehouse that may not be climate controlled. Overtime opportunities will be available with some mandatory overtime, including weekends.
