Forklift operator Job&Talent Edgerton, KS Job Details Full-time $20.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Forklift Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Forklift Operator - Edgerton At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics and manufacturing partner in Edgerton. This role is based in a climate-controlled candy manufacturing facility, where you will support production by ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods in a fast-paced environment. Shift patterns Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm Pay rates 20.50 USD hourly Must-have requirements for Forklift Operator Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience Ability to pass an on-site forklift certification assessment (no training provided) Commute time of 40 minutes or less Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active manufacturing environment Willingness to work on the production line when needed Previous experience working at this facility (if applicable) Desirable requirements for Forklift Operator Previous experience in food manufacturing or candy production Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards Experience with Raymond equipment or reach trucks Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus Role for Forklift Operator Operate stand-up forklifts to transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the warehouse Support line operations by delivering materials promptly to prevent production downtime Load, unload, stage, and store products in designated warehouse areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with food handling standards Perform routine equipment checks and follow established operating procedures Benefits for Forklift Operator Opportunity to work in a stable, climate-controlled manufacturing facility Consistent Monday to Friday schedule Professional environment focused on safety and efficiency
