Job Description

Hours:
6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday Drive efficiency and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment by expertly operating reach trucks, double walkie riders, and stock pickers. This role is ideal for a skilled operator who takes pride in accuracy, productivity, and maintaining a safe workspace. With a strong focus on inventory control, equipment care, and teamwork, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while meeting performance standards. Don't miss this associate to hire opportunity for a Forklift Operator in Edgerton, KS. Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate power equipment safely, following all company and OSHA guidelines
  • Successfully complete and maintain forklift certification (re-certification every 2 years)
  • Use RF scanning equipment to record inventory transactions accurately
  • Move products to and from designated locations while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform manual inventory counts when required to ensure transaction accuracy
  • Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections, report any damage, and maintain a clean forklift
  • Monitor RF equipment functionality and report issues to the supervisor
  • Utilize warehouse software for equipment login and tracking
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Forklift Operator Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center
  • Regular exposure to forklifts and motorized conveyors in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (95% of the time)
  • Moderate noise levels are present
  • Frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), reaching, and walking
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate clearly
  • Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision
  • Ability to pass written and driving tests for forklift certification
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
