The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm with opportunities for overtime. Overall Responsibility The Forklift Operator works with other associates, leads, and the Warehouse Manager to accurately and efficiently fulfill route vending and delivery orders. The Forklift Operator is responsible for rotating product, receiving truck deliveries and shipments, and is able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Key areas of
Responsibility and Accountability:
Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vendors and stacking them to assigned places Locating and moving a large stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Rotate products to ensure no out of date items Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager Qualifications/Skills- 2+ years of Warehouse and Forklift experience
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Valid certification for operating a pallet jack
- Experience operating a pallet jack
- Has strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and work as a team
- Proven attendance record
- Strong communication and reasoning skills
