Job Description

Forklift Operator Manufacturing/Production Bardstown , Kentucky Start your new career as a Forklift Operator with MAU at our client in Bardstown, Kentucky. As a Forklift Operator, you will support barrel processing and warehouse operations by ensuring safe equipment operation, maintaining quality standards, and helping the team meet daily production goals.
What We Offer:
$17•21 per hour 12-hour rotating schedule 1st
Shift Hours:
6:45 AM•7:00 PM 2nd
Shift Hours:
6:45 PM•7:00 AM 2-2-3-2 rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off) Temp-to-hire opportunity after 520 hours Health benefits Dental insurance
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma/GED is required Ability to operate powered industrial equipment Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow safety procedures, SOPs, and operational guidelines
Preferred:
2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience What You'll Do as a
Forklift Operator:
Follow and promote all safety requirements related to barrel processing and warehouse operations Safely operate equipment and industrial vehicles Report safety concerns, accidents, and near misses immediately Participate in safety inspections and accident investigations Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work environment Ensure daily production goals are met while following safety, quality, regulatory, food safety, and environmental standards Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies Perform quality inspections, equipment operation, cleaning, and plant maintenance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost control Contribute ideas to improve daily operations and departmental KPIs Communicate effectively with team members and other departments Work with leadership to develop skills and improve performance Maintain professional relationships and contribute to a positive team environment
