Summary:

A Forklift Operator, is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in this role.

Essential Duties:

Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers Inspect and perform maintenance checks on forklifts Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with other warehouse duties as needed Safety - work safely around the hazards associated with the Construction field. Tools - use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools and in a safe manner. Lift, carry and hold building materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid driver's license Must possess a forklift operator certification At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG's etc. PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required. To be eligible for per diem, your permanent residence must be at least 60-miles from the site address and you must provide documentation as such.
