Job Description

GLO Resources is currently hiring an experienced Material Handler to work locally within Port Allen, La . The rate of pay is between $16 to $18 per hour based on experience. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, with potential overtime on weekends.
Position Summary:
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of forklifts, managing inventory, and handling inbound and outbound shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment. Loading/unloading trucks and staging materials. Supporting inbound receiving and outbound shipping. Maintaining accurate inventory counts and records. Ensuring proper measurement and handling of materials. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Industrial, fabrication, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus. Proven forklift driving experience (certification preferred). Prior experience in receiving for both inbound and outbound orders. Ability to use tape measure accurately. Strong math skills, including addition, multiplication, and unit conversions. Must be a team player in all aspects of position functions. Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Valid Driver's License. Background Check is required. Ability to pass a drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
