Job Description

Warehouse Technician responsible for receiving, inventory movement, order picking, pallet staging, truck loading, RF scanning, and material transfers in a food manufacturing warehouse environment. Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack operator licensing Ability to perform basic arithmetic Ability to perform mathematical conversions from metric to standard Ability to read and write in English Ability to use RF scanning systems Ability to complete inspection forms, bills of lading, and daily driver logs Ability to work in a food manufacturing environment Ability to work Monday through Friday with start times as early as 5:00 AM and finish times as late as 9:00 PM Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to work around heat, humidity, wet environments, and moderate to loud noise Ability to wear required PPE, including nonskid waterproof boots, safety goggles, and heat-resistant gloves Preferred Skills 1+ years of warehouse, materials, dock, or food manufacturing experience Experience with GMP requirements Experience with SQF requirements Experience with food safety requirements Experience with allergen storage and labeling protocols Experience with FIFO inventory practices Experience using RF guns for inventory allocation and location movement Experience operating powered industrial vehicles Experience performing cycle counts Experience driving box trucks or company trucks Responsibilities Receive raw materials, finished goods, transfers, and returned materials Pick, palletize, wrap, scan, and stage orders Load and unload third-party and company trucks Inspect trucks before moving materials Verify counts and weights using RF systems Identify materials using RF systems Label bags individually when materials land on the dock or warehouse Maintain inspection forms, bills of lading, and daily driver logs Use RF guns to manage inventory allocation and location movement Pick orders using lot dates and FIFO procedures Follow allergen protocols for storage and labeling Prepare and stage pallets for production areas Put away and locate incoming raw materials using RF systems Maintain and organize resting inventories Perform daily inspections of powered industrial vehicles Perform box truck inspections and report issues Support material movement to and from manufacturing and distribution areas Track inventory through scanning and location placement Place goods into production and distribution areas for consumption and shipping Alert management to issues that may impact schedules, inventory counts, or delivery targets Maintain general warehouse housekeeping Follow food safety, GMP, SQF, regulatory, and internal quality program requirements Perform related duties as assigned
Pay:
