Job Description
VCS is looking for ForkLift Operator in Constantine, MI. Earn Gift Cards up to $250 every Month.

Equipment/Attire Requirement:
Steel-toe over the ankle work boot (worker responsibility) Hi-Visibility hard hat (provided) General purpose gloves (provided) Hi-Visibility safety vest (provided) Safety eyewear (provided) Long pants of durable material (jeans preferred) Shirt with sleeves, minimum to cover shoulder (no loose clothing) Duties are as follows but not limited to: Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections. Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry. Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning) Keep the warehouse clean and tidy During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations Maintain safety standards- initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary
Physical Task Requirements:
Ability of standing/sitting for extended periods; operating forklifts; repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting (minimal requirement 60 lbs.), exposure to warm and cold weather conditions.Additional Details:
Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position. Transportation to and from assignment location is the responsibility of the worker. It is recommended that workers bring meals and snacks in a cooler if cool storage is not provided. Must abide by site seatbelt policy- seatbelts must be worn in all motor vehicles on property. Must abide by site electronic device policy
