Forklift Operator

JobsRUs.com is currently hiring Forklift Operators for a recycling facility located in Dundee, MI. Previous experience in a recycling or manufacturing environment is preferred. Pay is $18.75 per hour. This position works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facilityMove, retrieve, and empty hoppers within the plantFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentPerform duties according to company procedures and work instructionsConduct quality checks during production operationsUtilize manufacturing data systems for basic shop floor functionsRespond to process control alarms and assist in restoring operationsHandle non-conforming materials according to company standardsAssist with employee training and mentoring as neededSupport production changeovers, productivity goals, and scrap reductionIdentify opportunities for departmental improvementParticipate in plant meetings and team initiatives
