$17-18 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods, ensuring accurate loading and unloading, and maintaining organized inventory through the use of forklifts and related equipment. This position plays a vital role in supporting seamless warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and timely distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. Duties Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and support order picking processes Assist with order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment according to specified requirements Manage shipping and receiving documentation accurately, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and compliance with shipping standards Stock shelves systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access for order picking Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating load and unload operations for trucks and containers Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders using systems such as AS400 or MRP software Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control software such as AS400 or MRP systems Strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes within a distribution or e-commerce setting Previous warehouse experience involving order picking, packing, stocking, and load/unload activities Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment Ability to operate equipment safely while following all safety regulations and procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and documentation This position offers an engaging environment where efficiency meets precision.
