Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced packaging environment. This role is responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trailers, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are delivered to the correct locations safely and efficiently. Forklift Operators play a critical role in supporting production, shipping, receiving, and customer order fulfillment. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers. Move finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies to designated storage or production areas. Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify product counts and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies. Utilize RF scanners, inventory systems, and shipping documents to maintain inventory accuracy. Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and warehouse operating standards. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and general warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment. Experience loading, unloading, stacking, and moving palletized products. Basic computer and inventory tracking skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for extended periods. Preferred Experience Forklift certification or ability to become certified. Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management systems. Previous experience in a packaging, logistics, or distribution environment
