Full Job Description Job Description:
Hilo Operators are there to anticipate, deliver, and ensure the material needs of the line are fulfilled, product inventory is accurate and accounted for while ensuring product is used, scanned, and transferred to staging areas according to FIFO.
Key Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevated platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery Manually or mechanically, load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels Understand and follow the order of materials for FIFO Forecast needs of the line and stage the line appropriately to maintain necessary materials available that allow production to run smoothly Inspecting equipment, structures, or material to identify causes of errors or other problems or defects and reporting then through the appropriate channels
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, Previous warehouse or forklift experience At least 6 months as a forklift operator Experience with RF Smart or Microsoft Dynamics, a plus #WFProgram
