The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to facilitate the efficient movement of materials and products as they load our flatbed trailers each day. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Duties Operate forklifts Hand pulling orders with accurate fulfillment Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Assist in materials handling, including heavy lifting and moving products within the warehouse. Collaborate with yard supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency in loading fence material. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly. Requirements Proven experience in yard or similar roles Familiarity with operation of forklifts. Previous experience in a warehouse/yard. Knowledge of materials handling best practices and safety regulations (OSHA). Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties. Experience with order picking processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety.
