Job Description
Core Responsibilities Working within a freezer facility, you will utilize electric industrial trucks equipped with lifting mechanisms to transport materials, equipment, and goods. It is essential that you adhere strictly to all established safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout your shift. You will also be responsible for the precise loading and unloading of inventory onto skids, pallets, or other designated lifting equipment. Daily Tasks Maneuver a variety of forklift models Transfer inventory into and out of drive-in racking systems Help maintain accurate inventory records by documenting the weight, quantity, and state of frozen goods using an RF scanner Perform routine inspections and maintenance on your forklift every day Coordinate and interact with semi-truck operators Requirements and Qualifications At least two years of steady experience operating forklifts Comfortable working in environments with temperatures reaching -20 degrees Fahrenheit Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing at least 40 pounds Flexibility to work weekend shifts when required We maintain a drug-free environment; therefore, all applicants must successfully clear a pre-employment drug test and consent to a national background check.
