Seasonal Fork Truck Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fork Truck Operator to join our dynamic tank yard team for the 2026 Green Season. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to manage materials handling, shipping, and receiving operations. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate movement of goods. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and order pickers to load and unload shipments.. Assist in inventory management system, update to track inventory movements and stock levels precisely. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs or notify maintenance for heavy equipment issues. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Handle materials with care during loading, unloading, stacking, and storage to prevent damage or safety hazards. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery. Prior warehouse experience with heavy lifting tasks in a fast-paced environment is preferred. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required; experience with OSHA standards is highly valued.
