Sterling Heights, MI Shift:
2nd shift: 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. OR 3rd Shift | 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
Pay Rate :
$17.00/hour + $1.50 shift premium = $18.50/hour
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our overnight production team in Sterling Heights. This position is responsible for operating HI LO forklift equipment to move materials efficiently throughout the facility while supporting warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HI LO / forklift equipment throughout the warehouse and production areas Load and unload materials from trucks and staging areas Transport products and materials to designated locations within the facility Perform routine equipment inspections before each shift Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with inventory movement and material organization as needed Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow or concerns
Requirements Qualifications:
Previous forklift or HI LO operating experience preferred Forklift certification is preferred, or willingness to become certified Ability to work a consistent overnight schedule Strong attention to detail and workplace safety Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
