Material Handler Forklift Operator

Summary:

Candidate will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to attain 100% On Time and Accurate Shipping of finished goods. Will execute shipments according to company policy, maintain a clean and functionally organized warehouse, and perform monthly audits, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Effective customer service & communication skills Ability to operate a forklift and scissor-lift Pull, load, document, and label all outbound finished goods Picking, lifting, and stacking of finished goods onto pallets Maintain an organized warehouse Maintain a record of inventory on hand Maintain a clean working environment by cleaning and organizing all components of the warehouse Knowledge of protocol and mechanical operation of dock and truck equipment Report damages and/or items needing repair Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods Provides coverage on the Production Line as needed All other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma / GED Knowledge of warehouse organization strategies and proven organization skills Ability to operate Hilo, Lifts, and other equipment. Attention to detail and conscientiousness Basic computer skills Very good physical condition and strength Ability to read, write, and comprehend in the

English Language Preferred Education and Experience:

Previous Shipping/Logistics experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job operates within a manufacturing/warehouse/shipping facility with a controlled climate in the office area, temperatures vary in the warehouse area. This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, standard days/hours are : Monday - Thursday 7 am - 5:30 pm With the flexibility of some Fridays, some early hours, evening hours, and weekend work when needed.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

Travel:

No overnight or long-distance travel expected for this position Local travel required for errands
