Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Fork Truck Driver to support our Cleaning Room operations. In this role, you will operate a powered industrial truck to move castings, materials, and containers throughout the facility. This position is critical to keeping production flowing efficiently and safely. What You'll Do Operate a fork truck to transport castings, pallets, hoppers, and containers to designated areas Load, unload, stack, and organize materials for production and shipping Weigh containers and complete inventory tickets, routing forms, and related documentation Perform daily fork truck inspections and monitor gauges to ensure safe operation Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping standards Use downtime productively to support cleaning and continuous improvement efforts Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production and quality goals What to Expect You'll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that is loud, dirty, and industrial . This role requires constant awareness, safe equipment operation, and frequent movement throughout your shift . While not as physically strenuous as some production roles, it still requires stamina and attention to detail. Safety is a top priority in everything you do. What We're Looking For Previous fork truck experience or ability to become certified Strong commitment to safety and following procedures Basic math and reading skills (tickets, gauges, inventory tracking) Good attention to detail and organization skills Dependability and strong attendance Requirements Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Background check required ( felon-friendly in most cases ) Overtime may be required, including Saturdays Must be able to wear required PPE Ability to work assigned shift and meet attendance expectations If you're a dependable team player who enjoys hands-on work and keeping operations moving, we encourage you to apply today! #NowHiring
