Pension Plan, and Stock Purchase Plan Responsibilities:

Keep the palletizer properly supplied with pallets, top frames, and slip sheets, and ensure the quality of all materials. Keep pallets aligned properly and remove jams as needed. Make sure pallet inventory is properly sorted, with defective pallets stored in separate areas. Check the conditions of the forklift and perform basic P.M.s at the start of each shift. Ensure strappers are full of banding material and pallets are flowing smoothly through lower conveying. Perform band tension check once per shift and document results on the check sheet. Inspect and transport finished pallets to the warehouse, referring any H.F.I.s for proper disposition. Maintain good housekeeping in the lower conveying area. Assist in other areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans through the plant.

Qualifications:

At least one year of recent sit-down forklift experience required. Ability to safely operate all forklifts in the plant. High stacking, double tine experience.
