Being family owned we remain loyal to our heritage and put a unique focus on family first operations. We are looking for a Fork Lift Driver/Yard Associate to join our team. If you have a nack for maneuvering big things in tight areas, a mind for strategy and a heart for helping make others jobs easier then we have a job for you! We are looking for a forklift driver to join our yard team. Our forklift team is critical to keeping our operations running. Responsibilities include removing loads of trusses from the racking, stacking trusses in preparation for loading and loading trusses to be delivered. Additionally keeping the yard clean and functional for all coming through, unloading vendors as needed and helping pick/prep/strap loads as needed. Experience on a forklift is preferred, but we will train. Qualified applicants must be self motivated, hardworking and have a can do attitude that is willing to help wherever needed. Must be willing to work in the sun, rain, snow and other elements. This is a full time, year round position. Pay starts at $18 and moves to $20 after 30 days.

Role:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our components plant team. In this role, you will support daily production by unloading trucks and railcars, moving banded loads of trusses from the line, stacking them to stage for delivery, and assisting with workflow throughout the facility. This position is essential to keeping the plant running efficiently and ensuring materials are delivered accurately to each work area.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment in a fast-paced production environment Load, unload, and transport lumber, truss components, and finished products Support production lines by staging lumber and replenishing materials Inspect forklifts daily and report maintenance or safety concerns Maintain clean, organized yard and plant areas Follow all company safety policies, including PPE and equipment guidelines Assist with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred (company-provided training available) Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety and awareness of surroundings Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
