Part/Full Time Overview:
Join our team as a Warehouse / Shipping Associate and play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. A Warehouse / Shipping Associate supports logistics and warehouse operations by preparing, packaging, and dispatching outgoing orders while verifying incoming deliveries. They ensure supply chains run efficiently by managing paperwork, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Key Requirements & Qualifications Forklift operation: Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and occassionally lifting of 85+ lbs.
Computer Skills:
Basic literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks (Job-specific training will be provided).
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, basic arithmetic skills, and excellent written/verbal communication. Core Responsibilities •
Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, load, receive and label merchandise for shipment according to carrier regulations and company standards. •
Shipment Verification:
Cross-check incoming and outgoing goods against invoices, purchase orders, or bills of lading to ensure accuracy. •
Logistics & Admin:
Generate shipping documents, compute shipping costs, schedule carrier pickups, and update inventory databases (Job-specific training will be provided). •
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean work environment, safely operate pallet jacks/forklifts, and assist with periodic inventory cycle counts. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all warehouse operation. •
Communication:
Liaise with truck drivers, resolve delivery discrepancies, and update internal sales or customer service teams.
