Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to efficiently move products throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and learn to operate sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks. Responsibilities Operate different forklifts to move products throughout the facility. Cross-train to learn the operation of sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks. Perform material handling and order picking tasks. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management. Load and unload products, ensuring accuracy and safety. Participate in shipping and receiving activities. Essential Skills Experience with forklift operation, minimum of 6 months. Valid Driver's License as this is a safety-sensitive position. Proficiency in order picking and working with RF scanners. Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp forklifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to cross-train and learn various types of forklifts. Comfortable working at heights. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a non-climate controlled warehouse equipped with overhead fans. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
