Job Description

Looking for 2 candidates. One main Shipping & Receiving and one helper. Forklift operation required for both. Overview Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your forklift expertise and warehouse management skills to support efficient order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and timely shipments. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload shipments with precision and care. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting for damages, and recording details accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Assist in stock replenishment, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment to ensure timely delivery for e-commerce and distribution channels. Utilize warehouse management systems like AS400 and MRP software to track inventory levels, update stock records, and support order fulfillment processes. Conduct regular stock counts, organize pallets efficiently on racks or in storage areas, and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing shipping labels, packaging products securely, and coordinating with carriers for pickup schedules. Follow basic math principles to calculate weights, dimensions, and quantities accurately during order picking and packing tasks. Experience Previous warehouse experience with a focus on shipping & receiving operations is highly preferred. Experience in plastic extrusion a plus. Certification in forklift operation (e.g., OSHA-compliant forklift certification) is required; experience with reach trucks or other material handling equipment is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar ERP platforms enhances efficiency. Comfortable working with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking tasks. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for weighing packages and verifying order quantities. Experience with order fulfillment processes including stocking, packing, loading/unloading pallets, and using pallet jacks or load bars.
Pay:
$14.00 - $23.00 per hour
