Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials efficiently throughout the distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and equipment repair will ensure smooth operations, supporting our commitment to timely order fulfillment and safe materials handling. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation and warehouse distribution will be vital to our success. Forklifts are stand up electric crowns lifts. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments. Manage order picking processes using warehouse management systems and pick techniques to fulfill customer orders accurately. Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency. Assist with warehouse management tasks such as inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations during all forklift operations and warehouse activities. Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas and optimizing space utilization. Participate in training sessions on heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and warehouse procedures to enhance skills. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picker technology. Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Strong understanding of materials handling, shipping & receiving processes, and warehouse distribution practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory counts, weight measurements, and load capacities. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to forklift operation and warehouse activities. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking. Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required. Join our team today to become a key player in our fast-paced warehouse environment! Pay:
$20.50 - $31.50 per hour
