Warehouse Technician/Forklift Operator

Job description Indulor America is recruiting for a well-rounded Warehouse Operator to join our team at our warehouse facility in Burlington, NC.

Position Responsibilities :

Purpose:

Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Preparing products for shipment. Receiving, distributing, verifying, and recording of incoming materials.

Responsibilities:

Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes. Examine shipment contents and compare them with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Pack, seal, label, materials for shipping, using hand tools, & power tools. Deliver or route materials tostaging areas using a forklift. Gain a thorough understanding of chemicals produced by the company. Develop a thorough and safe understanding of how to operate a sit down and stand-up forklift. Physical Requirements Body Positioning Spend time bending or twisting the body Spend time making repetitive motions Spend time sitting, standing, and moving equipment/ product via forklift Spend time using your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Spend time walking, squatting, and climbing Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds

Knowledge:

• CDL
• license or willingness to obtain
• Forklift
• knowledge how to safely utilize and work a forklift
• Clerical
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems for the management of shipping documentation.
• Production and Processing
• Knowledge of raw materials, quality control, and how they pertain to the obtaining and shipping of products.
• Bar code reader equipment Ability to handheld bar code scanners and understand its operation
• Radio frequency identification devices Knowledge of how to use handheld scanners and walkie talkies
• Safety
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people and property.
