Job Purpose The Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials within the warehouse and shipping areas. This role supports daily logistics operations by ensuring accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory organization, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operating the forklift in a productive manner that does not harm others or the operator. Carefully moving product and raw materials to ensure less damages and freight claims. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped free of damages. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. Keeping peanuts or other supplies at pack off areas readily available for use. Removing palletized finished product to and from trailers and warehouse. Organizing the warehouse in a manner so that stock is rotated properly. Assists in departmental cleanup and sanitation. Communicating any issues through out the plant or process to management that may compromise Food Quality, Food Safety, or Personal Safety. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
