Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are looking for a skilled certified equipment operator with experience in operating Telelift equipment. Candidates with boom lift experience will also be considered, but priority will be given to those with Telelift experience. The role involves operating a forklift, requiring at least two years of recent experience. The position demands comfort with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, in a loud and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy workspace, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Operate Telelift equipment, with a preference for candidates having specific experience. Operate forklifts with a minimum of two years of recent experience. Conduct heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively. Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy work environment. Comply with company policies and procedures. Essential Skills Experience in operating Telelift equipment. At least two years of recent forklift operation experience. Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor, production, and material handling duties. Knowledge of operating scissor lifts, heavy equipment, excavators, and boom lifts. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 45 pounds. Work Environment The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse that can be loud and chaotic. Shifts run from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays and additional weekdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kannapolis, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
