Job Description Second Shift Position
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload all inbound products. Weight, Label, and record all information needed for in bound products. Put inbound products in proper location physically and electronically (in the inventory system).
Job Requirements:
Must be able to bend and lift 40lbs from the floor to a height of 5ft Must arrange transportation to and from the job site. Must wear steel-toe shoes. Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends if necessary to keep up with receiving demand. Must be able to do basic math with or without calculator Must have basic knowledge on how to use Mircorsoft office (excel, word, email). Must have a background in using basic inventory systems. Must be willing to stay late to ensure the job is complete Must be okay with working overtime Must have forklift experience. Must be able to work in cooler 45 degree Must be able to work alone Must have communication skills. There is a lot of communication needed for drivers and in the warehouse. Needs to be able to put product in racks. It has to be done efficiently and there can not be any defective pallets or improperly stacked pallets put in the rack. Must be willing to work a rotating weekend schedule. Must work well with others, have good math and reading skills Job Description (includes but not limited to) Unloading trucks for inbound shipments ensuring counts and paperwork is correct. Follow the unloading manual on loading sheet to ensure each pallet is correct Take each pallet off the truck. Separate and Weigh each Product/pallet After you finish unloading a truck make sure paperwork is filled out properly, return driver copy and move to the next step Must follow company procedures and perform duties in a safe manner preventing personnel injury and property damage. Will be responsible that forklifts are operated properly and that any maintenance issues get reported to supervisor so they can get corrected. This includes proper charging of electric lifts.
