Forklift Operator

Our client, a chemical manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Kearny, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections, check fluid levels, and report any mechanical issues to supervisors Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track, verify, and scan products Secure and wrap materials, pick orders for shipment, and adhere to inventory rotation policies Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

Certified sit-down forklift operator with prior hands-on experience required Bilingual in English and Spanish required Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, stacking, and transporting materials Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Day Shift:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00

PM Night Shift:
