The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operating Sit-Down
ELECTRIC
Forklifts (Hyster or Yale Brand - Yellow). This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, materials handling, and shipping and receiving procedures. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods, managing inventory movement, and ensuring safety compliance across all operations. Responsibilities Operate Sit-Down Electric Forklifts to move, transport, and unload and load materials. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement accurately and update stock records in real-time. Perform order picking with precision using specialized equipment. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries. Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing materials for storage or dispatch according to safety standards and operational procedures. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve equipment utilization, and enhance overall warehouse operations. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as Sit-Down Electric Forklifts Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing. Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse safety standards, including OSHA regulations related to
