Job Title:
Warehouse Material Handler & Forklift Operator (Indoor Furniture)
Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Salary:
Starts at $20.00 - $23.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)
Additional Compensation:
Performance Bonuses Pay Frequency:
Twice monthly
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our indoor furniture operations. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who excels at physical organization, forklift operations, and strategic freight load planning to maximize transit capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
Prepare, pack, wrap, label, and stage heavy furniture orders for scheduled delivery or customer pickup.
Load Planning & Freight Storing:
Strategically arrange and store furniture inside the warehouse and onto various delivery trailers to maximize space and ensure safe transit.
Unloading Trailers and Contaniers :
Materials and products in a fast an ifficient manner.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move, stack, and organize bulk items.
Inventory Control:
Utilize warehouse computer software to log entries, perform cycle counts, and keep digital inventory records perfectly accurate.
Maintain Safety:
Keep a clean, secure, and orderly work environment in compliance with company safety procedures.
Operational Flexibility:
Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager
Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment (furniture or bulky goods experience preferred).
Certification:
Forklift Certification is required.
Tech Skills:
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital inventory software or databases.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 75 lbs independently, and team-lift objects up to 100+ lbs safely
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
