Forklift Operator

In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials efficiently throughout the facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, accurate order picking, and seamless shipping and receiving operations. Duties Operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments with precision and care Pick, pack, and prepare orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with warehouse management tasks such as inventory control, materials handling, and maintaining organized storage areas Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment details, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely dispatches Load and unload materials from trucks safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve processes, and uphold safety protocols Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment including forklift, reach truck, Hi-Lo, clamp truck, and pallet jack Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking procedures Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving protocols, and materials handling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Excellent understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety Previous experience in warehouse supervision or managing warehouse operations is a plus Join us in creating an efficient, safe, and energized work environment! Pay:

$23.55 - $28.36 per hour
