General Laborer/Forklift Operator

We are currently hiring for a General Laborer/Forklift Operator to join our team. Daylight Hours. 1st shift. 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. M-F Summary As a General Laborer/Forklift Operator, you will be essential in maintaining efficient operations within our distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will include materials handling, loading and unloading goods, and operating various heavy equipment, including forklifts and front loader trucks. Your core skills in warehouse experience and heavy equipment operation will be vital, while your premium skills in warehouse management and equipment repair will enhance our team's productivity. Qualifications Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment Proficient in operating forklifts and heavy equipment, including front loader trucks Strong skills in materials handling, loading, and unloading Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols Basic math skills for inventory and order processing Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform equipment repairs as needed (Preferred) Duties Included but not limited to: Keep the plant clean during the day (sweep, shovel, clean up broken block) Take bad block off the racks Clean Mixer Wrap pallets Help with mold change overs Empty trash in the building and the bins Clean the bathrooms. Load Trucks, pick orders, keep yard cleaned up Make sure all order paperwork is done each day Load block plant bins with front loader.
