Position Overview The Forklift Operator supports production by safely transporting materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts to move, load, and stack materials Transport supplies and materials to production areas according to schedule Secure pallets, verify materials, and ensure accurate placement Maintain inventory levels by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies Clear production areas by removing finished goods and empty pallets Document all material movements using logs and RF scanners Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on forklifts Follow all safety procedures and maintain awareness of foot traffic Support shipping, receiving, and general material handling tasks Maintain consistent and reliable attendance Required Skills & Experience 1-2 years of forklift operating experience Proficiency with sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts Background in shipping/receiving, production, or general labor Experience with RF scanners, reach trucks, and pallet jacks Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting Why You'll Love Working Here Clean, climate‑controlled Strong focus on safety and employee well‑being Opportunities for training, skill development, and career growth Supportive team environment with steady, predictable scheduling Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Howard, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.81 - $22.81/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
