Forklift Operator

Job Title:

Forklift Operator Pay rate: $20-21/hr Job Description Join a dynamic team at a leading U.S. beverage manufacturer known for its wide range of products, including bottled water, sparkling water, teas, and sports drinks. As a private label supplier, you will play a crucial role in supporting major retailers across North America. Responsibilities Operate forklift by moving levers and pressing pedals to drive the truck and control the lifting apparatus. Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device. Plan supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule and scheduling deliveries to the production area. Retrieve supplies and materials by studying specifications, locating, and verifying supplies, securing pallets on the truck, and moving pallets to the production location. Maintain inventory in the production area by anticipating usage, tracking inventory, and reporting discrepancies. Clear the production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets. Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods. Maintain a safe work environment by being vigilant about foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Ensure forklift operates efficiently by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Enhance job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Howard, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.81 - $22.81/hr.
