Job Description

Pay Rate:
$18.00 THIS
IS A TEMPORARY POSITION
Description:
Must be certified and able to operate a stand-up and sit-down electric forklift.
SUMMARY:
Temp to hire position. Responsible for loading and unloading products from trucks. Moves raw material and finished products to proper location within the warehouse. Delivers raw materials to production areas as required. Moves finished goods/purchased goods to proper warehouse locations. Assists pulling products required for shipping orders and delivers them to the designated shipping areas. Responsible for loading pallets of orders onto trucks. Replenishes products for entire warehouse and assists with warehouse projects as needed. Assist slitter operator with movement of finished rolls.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Ensures equipment is maintained and operating properly.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Responsible for replenishing stock of finished goods and all materials.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading products from trucks.
  • Assists with pulling orders for shipping department.
  • Communicates with Operators and Supervisors
  • Clean and maintain work areas and warehouse.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Accurately complete and process documents and reports as necessary.
  • Perform back-up for others as required
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees
  • Able to read a tape measure
  • Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
