Warehouse Associate - (North Charleston, SC)
Pay:
$18 per hour during 3‑month contract
Growth:
Opportunity to move into the $20s upon successful contract completion
Shift:
1 st shift, 7a-4p, OR 8a-5p (looking for flexibility with both) About the Role East Coast Warehouse in North Charleston, SC is looking for reliable, safety‑minded Warehouse Associates to support daily operations involving materials arriving through U.S. Customs . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants a long‑term growth path in the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound materials arriving through customs, ensuring proper documentation and workflow accuracy Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse Stage and prepare shipments for X‑ray screening and customs inspection Load, unload, and organize freight in designated areas Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Follow all safety protocols, warehouse procedures, and customs‑related guidelines Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals Qualifications Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred Ability to lift, move, and stack materials as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with time‑sensitive tasks Reliable attendance and a positive, team‑oriented attitude What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $18 during the initial 3‑month contract Pay growth into the $20s after successful contract completion Opportunity for long‑term employment and advancement Hands‑on experience in customs‑related warehouse operations Supportive team environment with room to grow your skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
