In this vital role, you'll be responsible for efficiently receiving, inspecting, and managing incoming shipments while safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth stock management, accurate order fulfillment, and seamless shipping & receiving processes. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to our company's success in e-commerce and distribution. Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries against purchase orders. Accurately stock products in designated locations, ensuring proper placement for easy retrieval and inventory control Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying items using RF scanners and order picking techniques Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems like AS400 or MRP software Assist in cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring timely dispatch of orders Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution operations Proven ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and stock management techniques Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Familiarity with e-commerce order picking, packing procedures, and packaging standards is a plus Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting This role is paid and offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a thriving logistics environment.
