What You'll Do Equipment Operation:
Operate stand up powered industrial trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
Scanning:
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Logistics:
Load and unload trailers as required; perform inbound receiving processes.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to the company safety program, demonstrate a commitment to process excellence, and maintain a clean environment.
Environment:
Work in a climate- controlled warehouse environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time.
Mandatory Qualifications Recent Experience:
Must have been previously certified and actively operated a Power Industrial Truck (PIT) within the past 18 months and be able to provide references that can verify.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Communication:
Ability to read, interpret, and follow safety signs, instructional documents, and technical manuals.
Mental & Physical Acuity:
Must possess the mental acuity and communication skills necessary to pass the comprehensive certification process (including lecture, written exam, and hands-on evaluation).
Clear Safety Record:
Must not have had a prior PIT certification revoked or been terminated for unsafe operation or reckless behavior.
Technical & Environment Requirements Warehouse Expertise:
Proven experience operating PIT equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Safety Awareness:
Demonstrated ability to operate safely in close proximity to pedestrians and other machinery.
Operational Versatility:
Ability to meet specific operational criteria, which may include: Working at heights. Loading/unloading trailers and racks. High bay loading. Proficiency in specific PIT styles (e.g., Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker).
Physical Ability Required:
Lift up to 50 lbs. and move materials on wheeled carts up to 500 lbs. Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull. Stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools/equipment. Experience:

Availability:
