Job Description:

Steelworks of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our steel manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will safely transport raw steel materials, finished goods, and equipment components throughout our facility using forklifts and other industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy-duty forklifts to move steel beams, plates, and structural components Load and unload materials onto machines and trucks Maintain organization in storage areas and workstations Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of all materials Work collaboratively with production teams and machine operators

Requirements:

Must be punctual and reliable for the weekend shift Must be self-motivated Must be able to work independently Proven forklift driving experience in manufacturing or steel environment Experience moving large and heavy materials preferred Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
