Full‑Time | Warehouse Operations | Competitive Pay + Benefits Job Description Hiring for a global leader in electric motor and industrial equipment manufacturing, is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Sit‑Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in New Kingstown, PA . This role is essential to keeping our distribution operations running smoothly by ensuring accurate movement, storage, and handling of materials. Responsibilities Operate a sit‑down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse Safely handle motors, components, and other materials according to company standards Perform daily forklift inspections and follow all OSHA and facility safety guidelines Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, labeling, and documentation Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed (material handling, palletizing, organizing) Work collaboratively with warehouse leads, supervisors, and logistics teams Qualifications 1+ year of sit‑down forklift experience required Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs regularly; occasional heavier team lifts Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet productivity goals Shift Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) Pay $19.50 (increase after 4 month contract-to-hire) Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
