Forklift Operator 9:00 am-5:30 pm

Job Description Oliver's Woodworking, Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily operations at our pallet manufacturing and lumber facility. This role is critical to maintaining efficient material flow, safe work conditions, and on-time production. Primary Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely to move pallets, lumber, and materials Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently Stage raw materials and finished pallets for production and shipping Supply pallet repair and manufacturing lines with materials Stack, band, and organize pallet inventory Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues Maintain a clean and organized yard and work area Follow all safety rules and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Required Qualifications Forklift operating experience preferred Ability to safely handle heavy materials in an outdoor/industrial environment Strong attention to safety and awareness of surroundings Ability to work on feet for extended periods Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to work in all weather conditions (yard work required) Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) Experience in pallet, lumber, sawmill, or manufacturing environments Experience loading flatbeds and box trailers Basic equipment or mechanical awareness Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday Occasional overtime as required Some Saturdays may be required based on production needs Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for raises based on performance and attendance Forklift certification training provided if needed Work Environment Industrial pallet and lumber yard Exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor elements Fast-paced, safety-focused operation Why Work at Oliver's Woodworking Stable, year-round work Clear expectations and performance standards Growth opportunities for dependable employees Locally owned company with long-term stability How to Apply Apply in person at Oliver's Woodworking, Inc. or submit your application online.
