Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the 2nd shift with a 12-hour rotating schedule. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your energetic approach will help drive efficiency, safety, and excellence in a fast-paced environment where every task contributes to our overall success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing processes while working with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Assist with packaging products accurately, ensuring compliance with quality specifications and documentation requirements. Handle materials and components using proper materials handling techniques, including forklift operation when certified. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and participating in continuous improvement activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including warehouse spaces, to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and processes, documenting any issues or deviations for troubleshooting or maintenance. Collaborate with laboratory personnel when necessary to ensure product quality and consistency throughout production. Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices to support process improvements. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory upon hire. Familiarity with CGMP standards to ensure compliance during production activities. Laboratory experience is advantageous for understanding quality control procedures. Strong materials handling skills, including lifting, moving, and organizing supplies or finished goods. Basic machining or equipment troubleshooting skills are beneficial for maintaining production flow. Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
