Forklift Operator

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator (Turret Truck) to join their warehouse team in Baytown, Texas. This position is ideal for candidates with proven turret truck experience and the ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for moving, storing, picking, and organizing products with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and productivity. Experience working in a refrigerated or frozen warehouse setting is highly preferred, as this role may require handling products in temperature-controlled areas.

The Day-to-Day:

Operate turret trucks to transport products to and from designated warehouse areas. Lift, move, and place products at various heights within the racking system. Perform pre-operational equipment checks to confirm safety and functionality before use. Pick, store, label, and organize products according to inventory procedures. Use the company's inventory management system to accurately track product movement. Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed. Ensure materials are placed in the correct locations and handled with care. Follow all warehouse safety protocols, company policies, and equipment procedures. Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or product concerns to the supervisor immediately. Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting daily productivity expectations. Assist with general warehouse cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Work in refrigerated or frozen warehouse conditions when required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience operating a turret truck in a warehouse environment. Ability to work safely at various rack heights while handling warehouse products. Experience in refrigerated or frozen warehouse environments preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management software or inventory systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Dependable attendance and willingness to work either assigned shift. Must be available to work weekends when necessary.

Pay Rate:

$17.50 to $21.25 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Candidates must be available to work either shift. Weekend availability may be required based on business needs.
