Forklift Operator Location:
Dallas, TX Pay Rate:
$19.00•$19.50 / hour
Position Type:
Seasonal (with potential for permanent conversion)

Monday•Friday, 7:30 AM•4:30 PM Note on
Schedule:
Occasional Saturday work may be required. To keep your schedule balanced, hours will be reduced during the standard workweek if you work a Saturday. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate and Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Dallas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily logistics by safely operating material handling equipment, accurately picking customer orders, and ensuring inventory is organized and damage-free.
Key Responsibilities Order Picking & Packaging:
Select, pull, and package products accurately based on customer order forms. Review order details carefully to verify scan numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including both sit-down and stand-up electric forklifts , electric pallet jacks, palletizers, and pallet wrappers.
Inventory & Material Handling:
Move, position, and organize materials to optimize warehouse space and maintain proper product rotation. Ensure items are picked in strict sequential order.
Technology & Scanning:
Utilize handheld RF scanners and other warehouse technology to scan, sort, and track inventory through the fulfillment process.
Quality Control & Safety:
Inspect products for defects or visible damage prior to shipment. Strictly follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, and immediately report any safety hazards.
Continuous Improvement:
Maintain a proactive mindset, helping the team identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve warehouse efficiency. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience operating electric forklifts (both sit-down and stand-up models). Experience using handheld scanner devices/RF guns for inventory tracking. Ability to read and interpret order forms quickly and accurately. Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean environment. Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays with balanced weekday scheduling. Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment, including a potential facility move at the end of the year.
