Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of forklifts and other materials handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse or distribution center.

Duties:

• Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
• Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products
• Perform order picking and packing duties as required
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting
• Proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Familiarity with order staging processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately in a team setting.
