This position requires at least six months of forklift experience and offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our fast-paced distribution operations. As a key team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Perform order picking using various equipment such as pickers and order pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation of forklifts and heavy machinery Support warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking, order processing, and shipment documentation Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and movement to prevent damage or safety hazards Follow OSHA safety standards diligently during all operations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Qualifications Minimum of six months of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution setting Proven ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks with mechanical knowledge and safety awareness Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining proper ergonomics and safety practices Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively Join us in a role that keeps our operations moving smoothly while offering opportunities for growth in warehouse management and equipment operation.
