Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse and Inventory Apprentice, where you'll dive into the essential world of warehouse operations and inventory management. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in materials handling, controlling product inventory for route trucks each day, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse distribution processes. You'll work closely with an experienced warehouse professional and the route team, gaining valuable knowledge in inventory control, order fulfillment, and safety protocols. Responsibilities Support the loading and unloading of shipments, utilizing equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Participate in order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to ensure timely order fulfillment. Help maintain organized storage areas through stocking, stacking, and materials handling techniques aligned with safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to monitor inventory of machine products and implement improvements. Operate heavy equipment responsibly for load & unload operations. Qualifications Enthusiastic about learning warehouse operations, inventory management, and knowledge of our specialized business. Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock movements or order picking tasks. Willingness to obtain certifications such as forklift or crane operation if not already certified. Strong attention to detail for inventory control, order accuracy, and safety compliance. Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
