Essential Duties Must have experience driving a 16 ft. box truck, or larger. Must have experience in processing pallets in and out of truck, shelving, etc. Assist other employees in the warehouse, taking donations, assisting agencies and donors. Responsible for making sure vehicle has been fueled, fluids are checked, and inspected before departure time. Operate all Caritas vehicles at all times in a safe manner, complying with all laws and Caritas policies. Visually inspect vehicle on a daily basis for any needed repairs or maintenance and communicate needs immediately to the warehouse director. Communicate with supervisor about any problems that may arise including delays in pick-ups or deliveries, donor concerns or incidents involving Caritas vehicles or personnel as these relate or interfere with safe or efficient fulfillment of driver duties. Complete all recordkeeping, documentation, and paperwork as required in a timely and neat manner. Responsible for providing respectful, courteous service, interact with and respond to Caritas employees and guests in a professional, helpful manner. Represent Caritas in a professional manner at all times. Additional duties as assigned. Required knowledge, skills and abilities Valid Driver's License No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) accident within the last three (3) years. Proven ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic Minimum experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn body, and walk Lift and move cases ranging in weight up to 60 lbs. to and from heights ranging from floor to knee, waist. Handle and feel objects and/or equipment controls; reach with hands and arms Must have the ability to talk and hear; must be able to hear warning horns on moving machinery and equipment. Exhibit a high level of endurance, energy, and strength to successfully perform position Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck Work Schedule 20 to 35 hour work week, in warehouse setting.
